For the past 21 years, Winter, the first two months of the year have always been Balalaika season in Los Angeles. This year we wondered why. Why not move the concert forward and spend a little extra time working on some new arrangements? Why not move the concert forward and engage all the people drawn out by the wonderful weather? We even considered Southern California's favorite weather personality El Nino. Why take the chance of being rained out?

Our answer has been to schedule our annual concert on the weekend of April 9th and 10th. Spring will be in full session and so will the orchestra with a refreshing new program celebrating the season, the talents of our guest soloists and by the way, our director's birthday. Let your fancy this spring turn to the Los Angeles Balalaika Orchestra.

If you're traveling north or south on the I-805, take the La Jolla Village Drive exit and head west. Continue on La Jolla Village Drive until Genesee Ave. Turn right on Genesee Ave, and continue to Eastgate Mall. Turn right on Eastgate Mall and right again into our driveway.

From the I-5, take the Genesee Avenue exit, and head east. Turn left on Eastgate Mall and then turn right into our driveway.
